Refund Policy

When MemeVideoMaker returns credits or money. Failed videos return their credits automatically, and an unused first credit pack can be refunded in full within 7 days.

Last updated: November 3, 2026

MemeVideoMaker sells credits. A credit is spent when a video starts rendering, because the AI models that make it charge us whether or not you like the result. This page says exactly when credits come back and when money does. There is no free tier, and nothing here is hidden in the checkout.

Policy at a glance

SituationWhat happens
A video fails to render, or is rejected during processingThe credits for that video return to your balance automatically, in full. You do nothing.
Your photo is rejected at upload (no face, too small, sunglasses, more than one person)Nothing is spent. The check runs before any credits are held.
You bought your first credit pack and have not used any of its creditsFull cash refund within 7 days, requested by yourself from your account.
You bought a subscriptionCancel any time. No cash refund of a period already started; you keep the plan until it ends.
A video rendered but you do not like itThe credits are spent and are not refunded. Try a clearer photo; the next video costs credits again.

1. Before you spend anything

Every photo is checked when you upload it: file type and size, a face that is visible and not hidden by sunglasses, and a safety check. A photo that fails is refused with the reason, and no credit is held. Checking costs you nothing. Use a clear, front-facing, well-lit photo, one person per photo spot.

2. Automatic credit refunds

Credits are held when you press the button and spent only when your video is delivered. If anything on our side or the video provider's side stops the video (a failed render, a timeout, a result that did not meet the format we sold), the held credits are returned to your balance immediately and the video is not counted.

  • It applies to every credit, whether it came from a pack or a plan.
  • It is automatic. If a failed video has not returned its credits, write to support with the task ID shown on My videos and we will correct it.

3. A video that rendered

Once a video has been delivered, its credits are spent. AI video is not exact: a likeness can vary between runs, and we cannot promise that one result matches what you pictured. We do not refund credits for a delivered video because of how it looks. Two things help: a sharper, better-lit photo, and checking the example on the trend's page, which shows what that trend produces.

If you think a delivered video is broken in a way that is plainly our fault (for example, it has no picture, or the wrong length), write to support with the task ID. We read every one, and where it is our fault we put the credits back. This is our decision case by case; it is not a promise of a redo.

4. Cash refund: unused first pack, within 7 days

If your first purchase on MemeVideoMaker is a one-time credit pack and you have not used any credit from it, you can have all of the money back within 7 days of paying.

  • It is for the first pack you ever buy (including the first-video offer) and for the one-time Medium upgrade bought on top of it. It cannot be used twice.
  • Unused means no video has been started with those credits. Credits returned by a failed video do not count as used.
  • If you bought the upgrade as well, both payments come back together, and only if neither has been used.
  • Subscriptions are not covered by this refund.

How: sign in and open My videos. While you are eligible, a card at the top shows a refund button with the days left. One click starts the refund; you do not need to write to us. The money goes back to the card or wallet you paid with. Your bank decides how long it takes to show, usually 5 to 10 business days. The card processor does not return its own fee on a refund, and we absorb it.

5. Subscriptions

Plans renew every month or every year, as you chose, until you cancel. Cancel from Manage plan on My videos at any time; the plan then stays active until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. We do not pro-rate a period that has started. Monthly plan credits expire at the end of each month (Premium carries unused credits over for one month), so use them or lose them; credits from one-time packs never expire.

6. Disputes

If you see a charge you do not recognise, write to support first with the email on your account: we can almost always sort it out the same day, and a bank dispute freezes the credits bought with that payment while it is open.

What things cost

A video costs 90 credits at 720p or 150 credits at 1080p, whatever its length. Packs are $9.90 for 100 credits, $24.90 for 280 and $49.90 for 600. Plans start at $7.99 a month on yearly billing. There are no other fees. Full prices are on the pricing page.
